Finding a lot of bones along the beach, all these belong to sheep so it or they may have died during the two or three weeks of snow and icy last month
Vsited a couple of new beaches this week in Shetland, Scotland. Some alot better than others for finding glass, pottery and pebbles
Thought i had found a finger among the stones but fortunately it wasn't just a peice of hard rubber
The colour and length all indicated a finger You never know what you are going to find just recently live ammo from WW2 was found in a couple of places in Shetland and the bomb squad had to make a journey norh to blow it up
The nights are drawing out and its about 6pm before we turn the lights on, good news as it means we may be able to hock late in the day when tides are low
